Adventure 5 Retail Treadmill

Get started in no time with the Horizon Adventure Treadmill that is easy to assemble, easy to use and easy to store. The Adventure features an exceptionally quiet motor for in-home use, and folds easily for transport or storage within your environment.

The design focused on an easy user experience from the beginning. This machine had to stand out in a retail environment with competitive price points. So a balance of user defined features helped create just the right blend of Endurance and Technology.

I was able to follow this project from Sketch to Tooling and review samples in the manufacturing facility in Shanghai China.

Johnson Health Tech

I started at JHTNA in 2007 as a Designer for Horizon Retail. We moved fast to meet the needs of a fresh home fitness market. I was able to create concepts and send them directly to our engineers in Shanghai, China, collaborating on design features, tooling specs, cost and materials. I was also able to follow the designs from start to finish, making numerous trips to review samples strengthen relationships and build a unified vision.

As Research and Industrial Design Manager, I was able to focus on the needs of our users. Not only end users but the service technicians, the installation professionals and the club owners to enhance the entire experience from start to finish
